We finally got to try this noodle spot after seeing a YouTuber rave about it, and it had been on our list for a while. We all ordered their most popular dishes, and I really appreciated that they make their noodles fresh in-house. You can even see them making it, which is a fun touch. I also liked that you can customize the noodle thickness to your liking. I went for their "super spicy" option, and honestly, it wasn't super spicy to me but it did have a nice kick. Kind of like a good wake-me-up spicy soup... if you're the type who eats spicy for breakfast. Service was nice, the place was clean, everything looked well-organized. That said, while it was a solid experience, I didn't find myself craving it afterward. So, good to try once, but not something I personally miss.

Great, delicious spot around Arcadia/Monrovia area for a bowl of soup noodles. This establishment has a wide range of noodle selection that one would definitely suit your preference. Their Braised Noodle Soup with their wide-styled noodles and very spicy spice level, along with their Appetizer Combo Platter (Smashed Cucumber, Spicy Fried Tofu, and Pickled Cabbage) were all very delicious. The beef noodle soup was rich with flavor and light to consume. The platter, on the other hand, was a great way to taste three different familiar flavors, where any three appetizers can be selected. The staff, here, were all very friendly provided along with the establishment's bright and clean dining area. This has and will continue to be a spot I frequent whenever I visit the area. Definitely recommend!

This little spot in Arcadia was just what I thought it would be. Great service!!! The guys are super nice here! All the food came out quick and absolutely delicious. The hand made noodles were so good. Great chew to them. The sauce was spicy and well balanced. The chicken was tender and full of flavor. The golden fried rice was in all honesty the best rice I've ever had. Definitely top 3! I'm going to have to come back to Arcadia just to eat the rice. In fact, I might have to get some togo when I leave today. The cucumbers were fire. I legit drank the juice. Perfect in every way! I'm gonna get that togo too! I'm in love! Great job guys!

The broth is the star of the show. You can tell it's been slow cooked for hours. The noodles were that perfect fresh chewy consistency. You can see them making the noodles fresh behind the counter. We were seated right away and the place filled up quick. The food came out literally in 5 mins. I inhaled that thing. Beef was tender. The veggies on top were fresh. Being picky but wish the drink selection was better. Their waters also came in small plastic cups and were room temp. Not a vibe. They did what they could with the tables and small place. Ambience isn't the greatest but the food is DELISH.

TLDR: Excellent Al Dente Handpulled noodles, Fast no nonsense service, Practical unfancy vibe where the noodles are the star. S T U F F w e A T E . . . 1) Signature LAN NOODLE 招牌兰州牛肉面: 8.6/10 We ordered their signature Lan Noodle 招牌兰州牛肉面 - the traditional Lanzhou Beef Noodle soup. - one order with Wide noodles, the other with their triangle noodles. Each Signature LAN Noodle comes with sliced beef and small beef chunks in a clear beef bone broth that is light, flavorful and somehow not oily. Accompaniments include daikon, cilantro, garlic and green onion already in the soup. It comes in a largish bowl with just enough beef to really dial in the flavor. The noodles are the star here for us, as they were perfect al dente in texture and chew, and super ultra long! Greater than 18" , practically uncut! Perfect amount of noodles in each bowl. I kind of wish the beef chunks were slightly bigger. 2) PORK BURGER - 9.2/10 With this, you'll find a healthy amount of chopped shredded tender pork on the inside sandwiched between an excellent lightly pan fried bun on outside. It's strongly reminiscent of a big oversized English muffin! Unlike American burgers which have all kinds of condiments, the Pork burger here comes plain, as it is a great partner to the noodle bowls we enjoyed. PRO TIP:If you are sensitive to spiciness, but want just enough, order your dishes with zero spice level, so you can to dial in your exact level of spiciness yourself. Someone's mild could be crazy hot for me, or maybe still not enough.. So I don't mind doing the work. Condiments at every table include separate bottles for soy sauce, dark vinegar and the all important chili crisp oil for that extra kick. Yes, for a simple straightforward casual meal with straightforward simple ingredients, I'd happily recommend!

I think this place is a gem for noodles. Love that they make it fresh and you can watch it being made to your style in front of your eyes. Their selection is great and I really enjoy their Braised Beef Noodle soup the most with the thickest noodle. Good for a casual date, but ambience is only okay.

This place always hits the spot. It's like a hole in the wall, in this plaza but food is SOOO good. Plenty of parking since it's in a plaza. Expect to wait during rush hours times but moves fast. Service is as good as it gets with a Chinese place lol but they try their best to get food out quick. English is limited but enough to get by. I love this place especially because you can choose what type of noodles you want with a variety of choices (thin vs thick/ round vs flat, etc.) the samples are shown on the menu as well. We get our noodle soups not spicy as we can add in our own spicy level with the chili oil sauce they provide at the table. I believe if you get it spicy - it's a bit TOO spicy lol. LAN noodle soup - broth is very clean, comes with daikon and thin slices of beef. Flavor is light and rich. We got this with wide flat noodles, very chewy. braised beef noodle soup - beef broth is delicious. I was craving a beef noodle soup and this hit the spot on the dot. Chunk beef pieces, flavorful broth, wide flat chewy noodles. What's not to love?! I always come back for the Braised Beef Noodle soup and it never disappoints! 10/10 recommend.

A great spot if you're looking to warm yourself up with some noodle soup! I came to this spot around Sunday evening and it wasn't too bad so I got seated right away. I was craving for some hearty soup that is also light so I got the chicken soup with thick round noodles. LAN Noodle is known for their hand pulled noodles so I wanted to get one of their specialty. The chicken soup was a good size and had bok choy and mushroom added in. There was a lot of chicken in the soup as well! They definitely did not skimp out. The noodles were nice and chewy and the soup was light and subtle which I liked because I wasn't craving for anything too spicy or intense. However if you're not satisfy with the flavor, you can add some salt and chili oil to the soup. I did not need to add any salt so the flavoring was perfect for me. Next time, I definitely want to come back and try their other noodles dishes as well!

Lanzhou Beef Noodle is located on Huntington Dr in Arcadia. I saw yummy looking pics of the handmade wide flat noodles so decided to check it out. I ordered the dry flat-wide noodles w beef, spicy fried tofu, and beef tendon. It was pretty cool to see them hand make the noodles!! Spicy fried tofu - Cold appetizer. Just a tiny trace of spice (not really spicy). Beef tendon - Cold appetizer. Gelatinous in texture w a hint of spice, good source of protein and collagen! Dry noodles w beef - Great flavor! Has cabbage, scallions, red onions, and jalapenos... reminded me of Mongolian beef. The noodles were delicious!! I'm falling more and more in love w this area bc of how amazing the noodles (and all other food options) are!! Next time I'll come back and try the noodle soup.
